This year, March 22 marks two important days.

National Ag Day

Every year, producers, agricultural associations, corporations, universities, government agencies and countless others across America join together to recognize the contributions of agriculture. Ag Day is celebrated during National Ag Week. To find out more about what you can do to celebrate, visit AgDay.org.

World Water Day

In 1992, the United Nations General Assembly designated March 22 as World Water Day, and it was first observed in 1993. It’s all about water and climate change, and how the two are inextricably linked. Understanding and adapting to the water effects of climate change will protect our health, and save lives. And using water more efficiently will reduce greenhouse gases. To find out more, visit WorldWaterDay.org.
