Recently, Governor Newsom asked residents to voluntarily cut household water use by 15 percent compared to last year, as drought conditions worsen throughout the State. The Governor also expanded his declaration of regional drought state of emergency to 50 California counties. Although Riverside County is currently not on the list under the Governor’s emergency declaration, Coachella Valley residents and businesses should continue to use water wisely.
