Interested in learning more about where our water comes from and how it is managed throughout the Coachella Valley? Applications are now open for the 2027 Water Counts Academy, and community leaders are encouraged to apply!
Now entering its 11th year, this free educational program offers a unique opportunity to go behind the scenes of local water management. Through engaging presentations by local water professionals and an informative tour, participants will explore the systems, resources, and partnerships that help ensure a safe, reliable water supply for our region.
Topics may include water sources and long-term planning, conservation regulations, Salton Sea management, water quality, infrastructure, and the cost and value of water.
The 2027 Academy will feature four Tuesday evening educational sessions in January and February, followed by a Saturday morning tour that brings classroom lessons to life.
Space is limited, so don’t miss your opportunity to be a part of it!
