This is a unique, spring-flowering shrubby perennial with blue-gray, textured vertical, spreading branches. The flowers on the tips of the branches are an unforgettable, brilliant chrome yellow. It does best in a sunny spot, and also in well-drained soil, or in containers.
After the flowers complete their bloom cycle, cut back the branches to encourage new growth. Like all euphorbias, it produces a sap that is poisonous and can irritate the skin. It is native to the Mediterranean, and can grow to approximately 2 feet high by 4 feet wide. The canopy coverage is approximately 13 square feet.
